Thermal and sound insulating plaster Rubezh-TP  (with phase change materials PCM addition for passive thermal regulation)  

Overview:

Unique environmentally friendly material with high waterproofing, sound insulation, anticorrosion characteristics and solar radiation reflectivity up to 85%.

The usage of material is intended for industrial or civil construction and adapted for use on concrete, brick, plastered surfaces, metal.

The material may be used for working with facades of buildings, interior walls, floors, ceilings, plinths of buildings, balconies.

 

Application of the plaster Rubezh-TP allows to soundproof the room from all sides. Durability of the plaster is 1.2 - 1.5 times higher than that of conventional equivalents.

The principle of plaster operation is based on the organization of complex heat exchange in which occurs a radiant reflection and intensive molecular exposure of air in the evacuated ceramic microspheres within the composition. Application of evacuated microspheres reduces conductive and convective heat transfer through the isolated surface.

Material composition:

The material is based on cement. It consists of a modified acrylic dispersion (dispersion) of inorganic pigments and polymeric ultralight micron-sized ceramic filler with high compressive strength.

Constituent components obtained by thermal treatment at more than 1300 °C, which gives a unique physical and chemical properties for the composition.

Phase change materials (PCM) additive:

One of the innovative solutions for the plaster production is an addition to the initial composition of the phase change materials (PCM) based on sodium acetate or sodium trihydrate.

These additive is not only enforcing the insulating performance of the plaster, but makes it possible to obtain unique heat-accumulating properties of the material, which passively affect the microclimate inside the insulating site.

 

 

Material properties:

  • durable, lightweight, flexible, with good adhesion, weather and frost resistant.

  • conductive thermal conductivity – not more than 0,078 W / m°С 

  • heat irradiation – not more than 2 - 4   W /m2°С.

  • Layer with 7 - 8 mm thickness gives a temperature difference of  15 - 20 °С

  • Plaster is low-flammable (G1 group according to Russian GOST-R 53295 - 2009)

  • 5mm of plaster reduce twice background sound.

Application method:  

The material is supplied in sealed pails with a volume of 20 or 50 liters and canister with 10 liters volume in a form of gray paste ready for use. If necessary, the material can be diluted with water in small amounts (up to 5%).

It is necessary to mix the plaster thoroughly before applying. Plaster is applied to the degreased surface by spraying, spatula or brush usage in a surface temperature range of +5 ° C to +70 ° C. The layer thickness between 8.0 (optimum) - 10.0 mm (if you need a large thickness - it is recommended to use special glass reinforcement mesh). The drying time of 1-3 days.

 

Operating conditions of the material after application:  

If the conditions of storage, transportation and application of the plaster as well as an absence of aggressive chemicals, radiation impacts are maintained the lifecycle of material will perform not less than 6 - 8 years. The material should be used in a temperature range from -50 ° C to +140 ° C
